Mission in Hounslow Trust was the named charity in 2000/2001 by the former mayor of Hounslow, Connie Sandhu. Madeleine Windsor, the Trust's secretary, received two cheques from the former of Hounslow: one for the work of providing accommodation for the homeless and the other for the drop in centre that included the elderly.

Many elderly people have been helped through drop in centres and visits to sheltered accommodations. Many have come along to friendship clubs each week and enjoyed fellowship and a dinner. Quite a few of the elderly are lonely and depressed and in need of help. The Hounslow Community Transport Minibus was hired on several occasions to take elderly and housebound people out for the day and also on short break holiday to the coast. Quite a few folk came from local sheltered accommodation units.
